EDH, Ltd. is the consulting and management training company of Professor Edward D. Hess, Distinguished Executive in Residence and Professor of Management at the Goizueta Graduate School of Business at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.


Prior to joining Emory, Professor Hess had over 30 years experience in the private sector as a lawyer, senior executive, entrepreneur, investment banker and consultant with Atlantic Richfield; Warburg Paribas Becker; Boettcher & Company; Robert M. Bass Group; Jones Lang Wooten and Andersen Corporate Finance.

He has a diverse, multi-disciplinary background in law, corporate finance, strategy, leadership and change, capital markets and entrepreneurship. His experience includes M & A transactions, IPOs, workouts & recaps, joint ventures, private equity investments, litigation risk management, due diligence, strategic assessments, business models, management assessments, negotiations, trial experience, and entrepreneurial ventures.

Professor Hess has done business globally in Asia, Australia, North America, Europe and the Caribbean. In the last 10 years alone, he has advised corporations and investors on billions of dollars of investments and has performed strategy facilitations for over 100 clients.

In addition, he has written over 40 commentaries on corporate finance, entrepreneurship, leadership, and strategic issues. He has authored or edited five books, and successfully built four service businesses. He has been a keynote speaker at numerous local, national and international conferences.
